Pipes are my window into the world.

Todd has been making pipes professionally since the age of 19. At 37, he considers it not just a job, but a life-long vocation. Outside of his family, his greatest sense of joy and fulfillment comes from sharing his work with collectors and patrons around the world.

CLASSICAL TRAINING:

Todd first apprenticed with Tom Eltang in 2001, and later worked with Lars Ivarsson. He is skilled in both the original schools of Danish pipe making (Sixten and P. Rasmussen) and has collaborated on pipes with other masters such as H. Tokutomi and S. Bang. He has a Masters of Art from Yale University and is particularly known for his unique art shapes. His work is prized by collectors around the world.

Actually a pretty simple design. A nice apple bowl, facetted shank that continues into the stem and in the bottom two facets continuing under the bowl. The hard thing is to make it look as well as Todd did here. The stem is in almost creamy white and the bowl has one of the deepest blasts ever seen. The pipe is stamped with the Phalanx, the finest grading used by Todd.

Comes with the Original Leather Pouch
