Leo Børgart is a self-taught pipemaker, born in copenhagen 1944. He started making pipes for private use in his sparetime because he wanted to do something creative, when he wasnt working as a police officer. His pipes became sought off and in 1991 he was contacted by a business man in milan, who wanted to buy his entire production. He left his job as an police officer and became a fulltime pipemaker.
