Peter Klein
German Peter Klein has been making pipes since 1988. Peter is clearly influenced by the style of the Danish pipe makers and since 2007 he has been living in Denmark. He primarily uses plateau briar from southern Italy and after staining he treats all bowls with oil and Carnauba wax.

He does all sandblasting himself. The majority of his pipes are fitted with handmade ebonite mouthpieces — often in combination with silver or horn. Peter makes pipes for 9 mm filter as well as pipes without filter.
His pipes are graded as follows: D, C, B, A, AA, Orca (from least to most valuable).
Beautiful style with traditional twists from Peter Klein
Peter Klein pipes combines the traditional pipe making techniques with careful handcrafting skill. This is especially visible in Peter Klein’s Orca grade and Elephant food variant, where the edgy sides of the shank are connected to the softened edges and the ergonomically designed stem and mouthpiece.
In our selection of Peter Klein pipes, we have tried to represent the catalogue of Peter’s pipes as broadly as possible. You will find both the Bent egg, Blowfish, Elephant foot and Dublin shapes, all of them carved and perfected with top notch handcrafting skills.
