Benner Pipes

Danish pipe maker Bent Nielsen – Benner’s – pipes are beautiful and has a striking diversity to them. Benner started his career as a carpenter, but in the 70’s he got hired by a pipe maker to help out with a large demand for fancy pipes. Benner continued making pipes and has worked for both Zetterwig and S. Bang. Benner pipes is the result of a long-time hobby of pipe making, but since his retirement from carpentry in 2011, Benner has dedicated much of his time to pipe making.

Benner pipes do not conform to any expectations for the brand; quite the opposite. In the collection of pipes from Benner’s more than 50 years of pipe making, you can find anything from the smoothest brandy pipe, to exciting and eccentric variations of freehand pipes with exotic woods and horn.

You can see the handcrafting skills of Benner’s background in carpentry in the carvings and finishes of the pipes, as the quality is absolutely top of the line.

Besides making pipes from briar, Benner pipes also uses olive wood for the pipes, that he brings home to Denmark from his yearly visits to Crete in Greece.
